ACM mentioned on WTOC
Today's ACM meeting featured Charles Gray of WTOC as the guest speaker.
Mr. Gray brought along the camera to film the meeting for a feature on WTOC The News at 5. The story (excluding video) can be found at the WTOC Web site under title "Gray Talks TV Tech at Local ACM Chapter." The accompanying picture features Ross Hevener, Lindsey Blount, Robert Stewart, Joseph Cassiday, and Shawn Latta.

November Monthly Meeting Reminder
Our November meeting will be on November 12, 2007 in SC1503. Lunch will be provided; free for member and$1.00 for non-members. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Mr. Charles Gray of WTOC will be our guest presenter. He will be discussing how technology makes an impact on his career and how technology shapes the world outside of the IT and CS fields.

Updates on Coastal Empire Fair Activity Night
Dear ACM members:
The time for attending the fair on Sunday, Nov. 4th, has changed from 7 PM to 5PM. This is to provide a few more hours of fun. ACM will pay $5 for those members going and $7 for those who also wear their t-shirts.

Postponement of Coastal Empire Fair trip
Due to the lack of people signing up and the possible inclement weather this evening, the activity to the fair has been postponed.
A make-up date has been set for November 4th at 7:00 PM, weather permitting.
Please sign up for this activity by e-mail or signing up in the School of Computing office. If you need a ride, please let us know when signing up. Please reply as soon as possible so we can get a head count.
